Where do you see the future of influencer marketing?
It’s only going to keep getting bigger. People will always be influenced by other people but now the average person trusts the opinion of another average person more than they would a real celebrity. Each year brands are shifting their marketing budgets and putting more towards influencers.
What were your New Year’s resolutions for 2018?
To read more books, to leave my phone in the other room when I go to sleep, and to have healthier eating habits.
Where do you take inspiration for your daily looks?
Most of my styling inspiration comes from my favorite retail websites. Zara, Revolve, Net-a-porter, Reformation all do an amazing job showcasing how to style the latest trends that they offer. Think about who is behind styling the website for Zara, a multi-billion dollar business – they have to know what they are doing.
How did you begin blogging?
I started off my blog taking endless street style photos on Saturday and Sunday while working a full time job. I wanted it to act as my resume to land any job I wanted in the fashion industry.
Favorite trend from 2017 and one you wish hadn’t happened?
White boots! I have been wearing them way too often. This ugly chunky sneaker trend is one of the few trends I really don’t love. (Don’t judge me when I finally cave in and buy one in a few months).
Who should everyone be following on Instagram right now (other than you of course ;)?
When you aren’t blogging what do you like to do?
Eat and hang out with my boyfriend and our families.
One brand you’d love to work with in 2018?
Aside from all of the obvious big luxury brands, Levi’s is one of my most worn brands — I’m a huge denim girl.
