Pulse Advertising x SeaTrees - We are becoming carbon neutral!
We all borrow resources from the planet every day as we go about our lives. That is why, this Earth Day, we are proud to announce our partnership with SeaTrees as we take another important step on our journey to negating that climate impact. With this exciting partnership, we are becoming carbon neutral.

Pulse Advertising is removing more than 180 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere. We will be working with SeaTrees to plant 4 mangrove forests in West Papua, Indonesia, which can sequester an additional 1.2 tonnes of CO2 over the trees’ lifetime. We will also be participating in the restoration of the kelp forest in Palos Verdes, California.
Together with SeaTrees, we are preserving, planting and protecting coastal ecosystems. Did you know that 90% of all carbon in the global carbon cycle is stored in the ocean? Or that mangrove forests are up to 5x more effective at storing carbon compared to tropical forests? This is where carbon should be sequestered to begin to reverse climate change. SeaTrees, a Sustainable Surf initiative, focuses on restoring the coastal ecosystems that facilities the oceans to act as a carbon sink by absorbing and removing CO2 from the atmosphere.
These measures improve water quality, support biodiversity, offer local islands protection from rising sea levels and storm surges, and create economic opportunities for local communities. These projects directly enable the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), designed to transform our world for good by 2030.
Pulse Advertising CEOs and Co-Founders Lara Daniel and Christoph Kastenholz commented:
“Thinking big and moving fast have always been core values at Pulse Advertising — SeaTrees really stood out to us because their work on restoring coastal ecosystems is one of the most effective ways to make a meaningful, positive impact on the planet to help meet climate goals in the near future.”
